The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.

The training programme consists of 15 months of local attachment with GSK. Only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible. For more information, visit Career Conversion Programmes (CCP) for Individuals.

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the programme.

Responsibilities:

As an Operations Engineer, you will support Manufacturing Operations Teams (Buffer and Material Preparation Operations) to achieve operational objectives, including deviation investigations, process and equipment troubleshooting, CAPA management, change management, QMS gap analysis, and risk assessments. You will lead continuous improvement projects and process optimization.

You will manage, schedule, coordinate, and execute qualification or validation activities to ensure timely completion of validation plans, in coordination with various departments. You will support maintenance of process equipment and critical systems at GSK Tuas site in a validated state.

Learning Opportunities:
  • Manage technical deviations and CAPAs, investigations, troubleshooting.
  • Engage in continuous improvements, audit preparation, project management, validations, and safety initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Recent graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged to apply for junior roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, facilitation, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
