Job description

Job Summary

You will be responsible for building relationships and creating awareness among employers in Singapore with respect to the displaced and vulnerable communities. You will also be responsible for working with clients in their job placement and career development.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Actively reach out to organisations to build and cultivate partnerships to facilitate their talent management programmes.
  • Proactively develop and implement strategies designed to increase client employment opportunities.
  • Work with the team to develop employer engagement and strengthen employer relationships through planning and organising networking opportunities and recruitment presentations.
  • Support activities related to the career development of clients such as event planning and management, data management and advocacy.

Career Coaching

  • Oversee a group of clients from the displaced and vulnerable communities to develop and deliver customised one-to-one or small-group career coaching in self-discovery on career
    options.
  • Equipping and preparing the clients with career skills in career strategies; resume and cover letter review, development of job search strategies and interview preparation to be careerready for the workplace. This will also include assessing client’s career development needs and recommending relevant resources to them.
  • Conduct regular outreach efforts including employer workshops and presentations to E2i and other social services agencies through Singapore Business Federation.

Others

  • Any other related duties in New Hope CS as assigned by Reporting Officer.

Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in IT Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Education and Experience
