Job summary

KLARIS Singapore is seeking a dedicated exercise physiology researcher to support cardiometabolic health programmes. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized exercise prescriptions, perform CPET with metabolic cart, and integrate data with clinical and biomarker datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Sport Science and Management or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of experience in exercise physiology, preferably in cardiopulmonary, cardiac rehabilitation.
• Experience conducting CPET with metabolic cart.
• Publications in peer‑reviewed journals or strong research interest.
• Strong understanding of cardiometabolic disease pathophysiology and exercise responses.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse participants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive exercise and functional assessments for research participants and patients.
• Develop and implement individualized exercise prescriptions per study protocols.
• Perform CPET and functional capacity assessments and monitor safety.
• Contribute to data analysis, manuscript preparation, and conference presentations.
• Translate research outputs into prototype exercise pathways and participant education materials.
• Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
