Job description

Cardiac Nurse – $3,000–4,000+++ / 5.5 Days / Central

Our client, specializing in cardiovascular treatment, is establishing its operations in the central part of Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Registering patients, including taking medical histories, triage, and measuring vital signs such as weight and height.
  • Ensuring necessary procedures like ECG, treadmill stress testing, echocardiography, and blood tests are carried out promptly.
  • Maintaining certification for Basic Cardiac Life Support and Automated External Defibrillator courses.
  • Drawing blood for investigations, managing supplies like tubes and containers.
  • Dispensing prescriptions to patients.
  • Liaising with hospital staff and departments to coordinate procedures and tests, and tracking results.
  • Explaining prescriptions and charges to patients, and referring to doctors when needed.
  • Roistering staff leave and break times.
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Assisting in maintenance of clinic equipment such as ECG machines, treadmills, and echocardiography devices.
  • Ensuring administrative forms are available and completed, such as X-rays and insurance claims.
  • Reviewing case notes, responding to referring doctors, and managing reports.
  • Keeping case notes organized and maintaining a reference system for clinic needs.
  • Supervising ward visits for in-patients.
  • Performing other duties to ensure the clinic operates efficiently.

Requirements

  • Background in Nursing or related field.
  • Ability to work half Saturdays (morning).
