Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin is a plus.

Job Description:

· Key Objective:

Responsible for executing and optimizing corporate carbon tax strategies, monitoring emissions data, and driving the adoption of low-carbon technologies to ensure compliance with domestic and international carbon pricing regulations.

· Main responsibility:

1. Track global carbon tax regulations, interpret policy impacts, and update internal compliance procedures.

2. Establish a carbon accounting framework to collect energy consumption data across operations.

3. Analyze carbon tax cost structures and propose optimization strategies.

4. Evaluate the feasibility of low-carbon solutions (e.g., solar-storage systems, hydrogen fuel switching, carbon capture) and pilot innovative projects.

5. Conduct internal training on carbon tax policies and sustainability best practices.

6. Liaise with governments, industry associations, and third-party auditors to facilitate carbon verifications and ESG disclosures.

Qualification:

1. College degree or above.

2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in environmental compliance, energy management, or carbon consulting roles. Prior involvement in carbon inventories, footprint certifications, or carbon trading projects is preferred.

3. Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or specialized carbon software).

4. Familiarity with carbon trading platforms (e.g., EU ETS, China’s national carbon market) and offset mechanisms.

5. Fluent in English, written and spoken. Fluent in Mandarin will be a plus point.

6. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex carbon tax scenarios.

8. Willingness to travel domestically/internationally for supplier audits or regulatory meetings.
