About the role

This is a full-time Car Workshop Manager role at KY AUTO PTE LTD, located in the Kaki Bukit East Region. As the Car Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of the company's car workshop, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the car workshop, including scheduling, job prioritisation, and resource allocation.
2. Ensure all vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standards, in compliance with industry regulations and the company's policies.
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the workshop team, providing coaching and mentoring to improve skills and productivity.
4. Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to identify and resolve any issues or problems.
5. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and expectations, and provide updates on the status of their vehicles.
6. Manage the workshop's inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
7. Collaborate with the wider business team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Car Workshop Manager or Automotive Workshop Supervisor role.
2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address any issues that arise in the workshop.
4. Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
5. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and resolve any concerns.
6. Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion of tasks.
7. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
