A leading automotive dealership in Singapore is looking for a Sales Manager to drive sales strategy and achieve targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in automotive sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong customer-oriented approach. Responsibilities include setting sales targets, managing a sales team, and ensuring compliance with company processes. Set and execute sales targets and departmental KPIs in alignment with business goals.
Track and optimise core sales metrics such as retail volume, market share, incentives, and inventory turnover.
Drive tactical sales initiatives including clearance events, quarterly push strategies, and seasonal campaigns.
Oversee the proper use and cost control of demo vehicles, ensuring compliance with insurance and operational policies.
Assess market dynamics and emerging trends to inform strategic sales planning.
Strategically segment the market and allocate territories to optimise consultant effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to execute integrated campaigns, showroom activations, and promotional events.
Align sales activities with overall corporate direction and brand positioning strategies.
Provide direction, motivation, and performance coaching to the sales team to meet business targets.
Manage the complete employee life cycle, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.
Facilitate regular team meetings, 1:1s, and reviews to ensure performance accountability and alignment.
Champion a customer-first culture and ensure the team consistently upholds brand values and service excellence.
Serve as the escalation point for high-impact customer issues, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolutions.
Cultivate long-term relationships with high-value customers and corporate clients.
Oversee the full sales journey—from enquiry to vehicle handover—ensuring a seamless, high-touch customer experience.
Enhance loyalty and retention through personalised follow-up and proactive service engagement.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and retail process standards.
Review and validate sales contracts, pricing frameworks, and order documentation for accuracy.
Manage vehicle stock efficiently, aligning inventory levels with forecasted demand and minimising aged stock.
Foster cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Aftersale and Marketing.
Solid track record in automotive sales and leading sales teams, ideally gained within an authorised dealership setting.
At least 2 years of proven success in a Sales Manager role within the automotive sector.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data, anticipate market trends, and drive strategic outcomes.
Demonstrated capability in leading, coaching, and engaging teams to achieve high performance.
Strong customer orientation with a passion for delivering premium service experiences.
Proficient in using CRM platforms and automotive sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent).
Well-versed in showroom operations, pricing frameworks, and effective stock control practices.
