Position: Automotive Workshop - Head Mechanic

Location: Jurong, Singapore

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Head Mechanic to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have leadership qualities, hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, and a passion for guiding a team of mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Supervision: Manage and mentor mechanics, ensure safety compliance, conduct performance reviews.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Develop maintenance schedules to reduce vehicle downtime.
• Diagnostic & Repair Oversight: Supervise complex diagnostics and repairs, ensuring quality standards.
• Inventory & Resource Management: Oversee spare parts, tools, and equipment procurement and management.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
• Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to mechanics to improve skills.

Experience: 6 to 10 years in automotive repair

Requirements:

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to identify issues and implement solutions
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and record-keeping skills
