Role Summary
We are seeking a permanent Capability Lead to lead the pilot implementation of an AI solution for clients. This role will commence at the end of January. This role is suited for a technically strong Project Manager who can translate business needs into executable delivery plans, manage end‑to‑end pilot execution, and validate AI solution performance using client data. You will be accountable for pilot outcomes, client‑facing delivery, and converting the successful pilot to a full‑scale implementation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the full pilot lifecycle: discovery, planning, data preparation, validation, and handover to contracting for scale‑up implementation.
- Act as the primary technical project manager and client‑facing pilot delivery lead; manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Define pilot success criteria, KPIs, and evaluation frameworks aligned to client objectives and AI solution capabilities.
- Lead the technical validation of AI performance using client datasets, including data readiness assessment, sampling strategy, test design, and result interpretation.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (data science/ML, engineering, product, security, legal/compliance, and client teams) to deliver pilot milestones.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts: project plan, RAID log, stakeholder map, governance cadence, meeting notes, and status reports.
- Establish data governance and validation processes, ensuring adherence to privacy, security, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PDPA/GDPR where applicable).
- Oversee data preparation and de‑identification activities and ensure technical alignment between client environments and solution architecture.
- Drive issue resolution through structured root‑cause analysis and decision logs; expedite escalations when needed.
- Capture pilot learnings and build reusable playbooks, templates, and best practices for future pilot deployments.
- Contribute to internal capability building: coaching delivery team members, defining standards, and improving delivery maturity for AI pilots.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fresh graduate with the above technical background can also apply. We are looking for candidates who are keen to pursue a career in heathtech, AI and helping clients realise the benefits of a full‑scale AI deployment.
- For fresh graduate, must have basic knowledge of AI validation framework, database model and design.
- Excellent communication skills, including translating technical findings into clear recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Advantage for experienced candidates with the following:
- 3-4+ years of experience in technical project management/delivery management, with at least 1 year delivering AI solutions.
- Proven track record leading client‑facing pilots or implementations involving complex data and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML solution validation, including model evaluation concepts (accuracy, precision/recall, AUC, calibration), bias/error analysis, and test methodology.
- Hands‑on experience working with client data: data profiling, quality checks, labelling/ground truth processes, and validation planning.
- Experience managing vendors/partners and coordinating across internal product and engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications (for experienced candidates)
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience implementing AI solutions in regulated or data‑sensitive environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
- Familiarity with ML‑Ops and productionisation practices (model monitoring, drift detection, versioning, retraining pipelines).
- Experience with AI risk management frameworks and responsible AI principles.
- Exposure to common AI tooling and platforms (e.g., Python, Databricks, SageMaker, Azure ML).
- Experience with data privacy/security controls, including access controls, encryption, audit logging, and secure data handling.
Core Competencies
- Technical Program / Project Management: structured planning, execution discipline, governance, and delivery accountability.
- Data & AI Validation: ability to design validation approaches and interpret AI performance on real‑world datasets.
- Stakeholder Management: effective engagement across C‑level, business owners, technical teams, and end users.
- Problem Solving: analytical thinking, hypothesis‑driven troubleshooting, and decision‑making under uncertainty.
- Client Orientation: strong delivery ownership, credibility in client discussions, and focus on outcomes.
- Documentation & Process Design: ability to build playbooks, templates, and scalable delivery practices.
Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)
- Successful delivery of two AI pilots on time, within scope, and meeting agreed success criteria.
- Clear, defensible validation outcomes demonstrating AI effectiveness (or limitations) on client data.
- High client satisfaction and strong stakeholder confidence throughout pilot delivery.
- Reusable pilot methodology and validation playbook adopted across the organisation.
- Improved delivery efficiency and reduced onboarding time for future pilots.
Working Model
- Permanent full‑time position.
- Hybrid work arrangement (subject to client requirements and project needs).
- Occasional travel to client sites in Singapore and overseas may be required.
Salary Range
- Fresh Graduate: SGD$4,000 – $5,000
- Experienced Candidates: SGD$5,000 – SGD$10,000
