Teacher / Senior Teacher – Canopy Student Care (East Singapore)
Salary: $2,400 – $3,200/month (commensurate with experience)
Hours: Full-Time: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00AM to 7:00PM (During school holidays where reporting time may be brought forward.) For additional hours worked during non-working hours for centre events, staff will be given time off.
Canopy Student Care provides professional student care and enrichment programmes for primary school children. We are a small, closely-knit team with a heart for children, and we are looking for teachers who are excited to inspire young learners, guide their development, and actively contribute to a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct programmes and supervise students’ homework, enrichment, and play activities.
  • Plan and ensure smooth delivery of daily and holiday programmes.
  • Facilitate indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and engagement.
  • Maintain a positive, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Record attendance, child observations, and track progress.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about children’s development and well-being.
  • Support centre operations as delegated by the Centre Owner / Director.
  • Participate in occasional evening or weekend outreach, engagement, or open house events (extra hours are paid separately).
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
What We’re Looking For
Teacher / Senior Teacher:
  • Polytechnic Diploma or Degree in Education, Early Childhood, or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience working with children, ideally in student care or toddler programmes. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
  • Strong ability to guide children academically and holistically, with patience, care, and enthusiasm.
  • Enrichment skills such as music, dance, baking, sports, art, or gardening are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
