Chuan Hong Seng Pte Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Assistant for our Toh Guan West Region facility. This full-time role offers day and night shifts to fit various schedules.

You will support inventory management, goods handling and distribution activities to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Ideal candidates will have warehouse or logistics exposure, physical fitness to lift items, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/logistics is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift and carry heavy items regularly and stand for long periods.
• Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect goods against delivery documents.
• Store items in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack orders per customer requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely where certified.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock records.
• Load/unload goods from delivery vehicles safely.
• Follow health, safety, and warehouse procedures.
• Communicate issues to supervisors promptly.

About the role We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Toh Guan West Region facility. This is a full-time position offering both day and night shift options, providing flexibility for candidates with different scheduling preferences. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse, supporting inventory management, goods handling, and distribution activities. This position is essential to ensuring that our clients receive their orders efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against delivery documentation
• Storing items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer requirements and warehouse procedures
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (where applicable and certified)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse floor and storage areas
• Assisting with inventory counts and reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner
• Following all health and safety regulations and warehouse protocols
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding warehouse operations and any issues encountered
• Supporting other warehouse staff as needed to meet operational deadlines

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording goods
• Basic numerical and literacy skills for reading labels, following instructions, and completing documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts as required
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance
• Valid certification in forklift operation would be advantageous
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols consistently
• Good communication skills and a professional demeanour

• 将货物分类并存放于指定仓库位置，确保仓库整齐有序，方便取货。
• 根据客户订单及仓库操作流程，准确进行拣货及包装工作。
• 在具备相关资格及认证的情况下，安全操作叉车、托盘搬运车等仓库设备。
• 保持仓库地面、货架及储存区域的整洁与安全。
• 协助库存盘点、数量核对及库存记录，确保库存资料准确。
• 协助送货车辆进行货物装卸，确保工作安全及准时完成。
• 遵守公司仓库操作程序、工作场所安全规定及卫生要求。
• 与仓库主管及团队成员保持良好沟通，及时汇报货物或日常操作中出现的问题。
• 根据工作需要，配合及协助其他仓库员工完成日常工作。
• 完成主管安排的其他相关工作。
