Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Camera Repair Technician to diagnose, service and repair photographic equipment including digital, mirrorless and DSLR cameras, lenses, flashes and related accessories. You will handle delicate, high-value gear with a methodical approach and document service history.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a good understanding of cameras and accessories, and the ability to read technical manuals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in camera or electronics repair.
• Practical knowledge of cameras, lenses and photographic accessories.
• Able to read technical manuals and diagrams.
• Careful, methodical and responsible when handling delicate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults in cameras, lenses and related equipment.
• Carry out repairs, servicing, adjustments, calibration and component replacement.
• Perform sensor and lens cleaning, and general equipment maintenance.
• Use technical manuals, diagrams and diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Test equipment after repair and record findings, parts used and service history.
• Inspect incoming equipment and identify additional faults where applicable.
• Explain repair findings to the relevant team or customers when required.
• Handle and store customer equipment carefully, and keep the repair workstation organised.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers or service centres for technical support when needed.

• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday9.00 - 6.00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3200 + Variable Bonus + Health Insurance + Commission
