Job description

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing calibration, verification, and maintenance of a wide range of measuring instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments.
  • Document calibration results and generate calibration certificates.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated within due dates and maintain proper records.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment performance issues and anomalies.
  • Support audit and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001).
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for calibration services and coordination.
  • Maintain and update the calibration database/system.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and best engineering practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in calibration or metrology preferred.
  • Familiarity with international calibration standards such as ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Strong knowledge in using calibration tools, equipment, and software.
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Certification or training in metrology or calibration techniques.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or manufacturing industries.
