Qualifications

• Expérience en calibration ou dans un rôle similaire en milieu marin ou électrique est un plus.
• Approche méthodique et minutieuse dans la préparation et l'exécution des tâches.
• Capacité à travailler en équipe et à communiquer efficacement.

Responsibilities

• Calibration des instruments de test/mesure et équipements à bord des navires.
• Résolution des dysfonctionnements à bord et production de rapports.
• Assistance aux ventes techniques et liaison avec les agences maritimes.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform calibration for test/measurement instruments and other equipment onboard vessel, including:

• ODME, OWS, Fixed Gas Sampling /Detection System
• Multi-gas Detector, Pressure/Temperature Gauge Calibration
• UTI, Tank Gauging, Other Automation Services

- Resolving onboard malfunctions, rectification of safety systems/ instruments, repairs and supply where applicable

- Produce Job Delivery Note upon job completion and issue calibration reports/certificates

- Proper preparation and execution of work assigned, prompt liaison with vessel agencies, and ensure performance are met at all times

- Assist our sales department with technical issues

Our customer service scope includes following:

• Lifeboat, rescue boat, davit and release gear inspection and servicing
• Fire Fighting Equipment annual service and inspection
• Liferaft annual inspection
• Sample collection for Drug and Alcohol Test, Fresh water or drink water analysis
• Cargo crane/Provision crane/Accommodation ladder/Pilot ladder load test
• Flexible cargo hoses, piping lines pressure test
• Magnetic compass adjustment, Deviation Card issuance
• Gyro overhaul and services
• Various ship flag/class survey, certification, inspections
• Port Agency operation, Marine warranty survey, On/Off hire survey, Delivery and Re-delivery survey

Requirements:

• GCE “O”/ NITEC in relevant fields and above
• Experience with calibration, similar role in a Marine or electrical background is a plus
• Meticulous & methodical approach to service jobs and reports generation
• Self-driven attitude to find solutions to problems
• A team player and able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
• Willingness to learn new skills and knowledge if no prior experience
