Job description

Professor Brawn Ltd is a Social Enterprise established by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) that provides job and social integration opportunities to people with special needs and the disadvantaged in society. Its mission is to offer affordable, quality food through an inclusive workforce comprising people of different abilities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds.

As a Cafe Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the overall F&B operations of the restaurant (Front & Back of House)
  2. Being accountable for the daily sales and profit performance of the restaurant
  3. Collaborating with the restaurant chef team to forecast, plan, and manage all F&B orders
  4. Monitoring and supervising the preparation and serving of food to ensure quality and compliance with food safety regulations
  5. Delivering excellent customer experience and enforcing a customer service culture
  6. Managing the budget to meet financial targets
  7. Overseeing scheduling, training, and guidance for the team
  8. Performing any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  1. Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, preferably in Food & Beverage or related fields
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  3. At least 3 years in a supervisory role within Food & Beverage, Restaurant Services, or similar
  4. Flexibility to work at different locations and possibly more than one location in a day, based on business needs
  5. Team player with effective teamwork skills
  6. Mature, resilient, and capable of self-coping
  7. Ability to adapt to diverse people and environments
  8. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment
  9. Strong interest in learning about Autism and a passion for helping individuals with special needs
