Job description

Professor Brawn Ltd is a social enterprise established by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore) that provides job and social integration opportunities to people with special needs and the disadvantaged in society. Its mission is to offer affordable, quality food through an inclusive workforce comprising individuals of different abilities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds.

We are seeking a Cafe Manager whose impact and contribution will include:

  • Managing the overall F&B operations of the restaurant (Front & Back of House)
  • Being accountable for the daily sales and profit performance
  • Collaborating with the chef team to forecast, plan, and manage all F&B orders
  • Monitoring and supervising food preparation and service to ensure quality and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Delivering excellent customer service and fostering a customer-centric culture
  • Managing budgets to meet financial targets
  • Overseeing scheduling, training, and guiding the team
  • Performing any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, preferably in Food & Beverage or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role within Food/Beverage/Restaurant services or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work at different locations and possibly multiple locations in a day
  • Team player with effective teamwork skills
  • Mature, resilient, with good self-coping mechanisms
  • Ability to adapt to diverse people and environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment
  • Strong interest in learning about Autism and a passion to support individuals with special needs
