Job summary

F & L REINSTATEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to study tender and construction drawings, draft layout plans, and prepare detailed drawings for civil projects in Singapore.

You will maintain drawing files, support cost analyses, and collaborate with designers to produce precise 2D/3D drawings using CAD and SketchUp. The ideal candidate has a diploma, 3 years of relevant experience, and is detail-oriented with good teamwork and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder.
• Minimum 3 years experience in waterproofing/civil projects.
• Able to work as a team and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Study tender and construction drawings, specs and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Collect drawings and data, draft layout plans and construction drawings with dimensions, codes, methods and materials; assist in site surveys.
• Maintain and update drawing files; implement corrections as directed by Section Heads/Leads.
• Assist in preparation of progress claims and final account quantity checks.
• Prepare tender and contract documents and as-built drawings to relevant standards.
• Carry out cost analysis and monitor cost variations.
• Collaborate with designers to provide construction layouts and detailed drawings.
• Produce quality 2D/3D drawings from scratch using CAD/SketchUp.
• Identify discrepancies between site and drawings and flag to the team.
• Prepare drawing schedules and manage revision drawing numbers.
• Demonstrate good time management and teamwork; meticulous and independent work.

• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Responsible to collect all drawings, data, and taking notes involved in a tender or project, draft layout plans, draft construction drawings (specifying dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials) as well as site survey at the beginning stage.
• Required to maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Heads / Leads
• Assist in preparation of progress claim, final account quantity check and submission, etc
• Preparing tender and contract documents, project drawings, as-built drawings to relevant drawing standards
• Carry out cost analysis, monitoring cost variations and report
• Collaborate with designer and provide construction layout plans and construction detailed drawings.
• Able to produce quality 2D/ 3D drawings from scratch using CAD/ Sketch up software.
• Must have the ability to spot any discrepancy between the actual site and drawings provided and highlight this to the team.
• Prepare drawing schedule and update on revision drawing number promptly.
• Good time management and planning
• Meticulous and able to work independently as well as a team player
