Job description

Bayes is representing an international A1 Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in C&S/Technical design functions; be in-charge for all civil / structural engineering matters being tasked.
• Attend and be proactive in design coordination meetings with consultants / clients.
• Prepare and review shop drawings / materials / MOS.
• Ensure drawing registry is maintained and latest drawings / BIM models are available for all parties involved (site staff, CTD, suppliers, and subcontractors).
• Ensure transmittal forms / emails are issued for latest drawings / BIM models when issued to CTD, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Study & review drawings / specifications in identifying discrepancies and issue queries to consultants accordingly via RFI.
• Resolve technical issues on drawings and liaise closely with Consultants, all trades, and authorities.
• Ensure BIM team updates the drawings / BIM Model with the latest information available timely.
• Upkeep all submissions, responses for the submission, and approval. Monitor the status of the submission and pursue responses from the relevant parties once the response is due.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and above in Civil/Structural or relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 5-7 years of prior experience with a top-tier contractor.
• Project experience in LTA/Governmental, Infrastructure (MRT/Roads/Utilities).
