Job summary

Purview Asia Pacific in Singapore is seeking a backend software engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend C++ components powering sales and trading applications. You will work across the technology stack including .NET services, Kafka pipelines, KDB+ stores, and Python tooling as needed.

You will analyze and resolve issues across trading systems, collaborate with trading desks and other engineering teams, and contribute across the full development lifecycle from design and coding through

Qualifications

• Extensive C++ backend development experience in trading or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, debugging, and production support.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and performance optimization.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong proficiency in C++ development, banking and financial services, capital markets and sales and trading systems.

• Experience in backend development, .NET, Kafka, KDB+, Python, SQL, Linux/Unix, object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, multithreading, API integration, system design, performance optimization, debugging, troubleshooting, production support, and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
