Job summary

Manpower Singapore is recruiting an experienced software professional to design and implement new features for automation machine applications, collaborating with product specialists, hardware and process engineers to extend product capabilities.

The role involves software requirement analysis, documentation, customer support, and debugging on machines, with hands-on use of C++, Linux, and QT in a lab setting. Candidates should have strong OO design and be comfortable with Agile practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Automation, Mechatronics or Computer Science.
Minimum 3 years of software design and implementation using C++ in Linux.
Experience with QT framework and lab measurement technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement new software features for automation machine applications.
Collaborate with product specialists, hardware, and process engineers to develop new features.
Perform software requirement analysis and documentation.
Provide support for customer-side software issues.
Analyze customer-specific software requirements.
Debug issues on machines.
Use version control and issue tracking tools for software release management and documentation.
