Buyer, Beauty

As a member of our family-owned business, you will plan, buy, and negotiate for the Beauty category within the Asia Pacific region to achieve profitable results. You will also represent Heinemann positively when dealing with external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Negotiate with brands and align their expectations with the Asia Pacific Regional Purchasing strategy to ensure a stable and reliable brand partnership, while securing competitive terms.
2. Foster positive relationships with brands to support customer preferences through our local retail and distribution partners.
3. Collaborate with internal teams such as Commercial Performance and Supply Chain to meet market and customer demands.
4. Analyze industry trends, including competitors and recent news, to ensure strategies remain relevant and adapt as needed.
5. Implement merchandise strategies to meet financial targets, including sales, inventory, receipts, and margins.
6. Support new projects or tenders with technical and professional expertise.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Business or related field, with at least three years of experience in purchasing, preferably in retail or the beauty category.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good business and financial acumen for effective team and stakeholder management.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
