Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a Sourcing Business Analyst to collect, clean, and analyze procurement data, and to design Power BI dashboards for sourcing metrics.

You will perform spend analysis, optimize supplier performance, and present insights to cross-functional teams. The role also involves AI initiatives to expand analytics capabilities and supporting ESG and ISO/IATF compliance across Skyworks' global supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Data Analytics; master's preferred.
• Proven data analyst experience in sourcing analytics and data visualization.
• Strong Power BI proficiency with dashboards and reports.
• SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation.

Description

Sourcing Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data from various sources, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts. Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies to gain insights into sourcing performance and supplier relationships.
• Power BI Development: Utilize your expertise in Power BI to design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations specific to sourcing metrics. Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces to present data in a clear and concise manner.
• Spend Analysis: Conduct spend analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities, monitor supplier performance, and optimize sourcing strategies. Analyze purchasing patterns, supplier pricing, and contract compliance to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Data Visualization: Present sourcing insights in a visually compelling way using Power BI. Design intuitive and interactive visualizations that enable stakeholders to explore procurement data and make informed decisions. Create reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators and metrics.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to communicate sourcing analysis results, methodologies, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of the information presented.
• Data Quality Assurance: Conduct data quality checks and validations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Identify and resolve any data discrepancies or anomalies in procurement data.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing managers, finance, and operations, to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Work closely with team members to ensure timely delivery of sourcing projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in sourcing analytics, data visualization, and Power BI. Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to improve sourcing analysis processes and deliver more impactful insights.
• A.I Transformation: Be a catalyst to expand A.I capabilities in the sourcing organization. Research, experiment and develop A.I models to solve specific business problems and enhance sourcing core processes.
• Compliance programs: Work closely with Skyworks corporate departments in the coordination of compliance programs for the Sourcing organization. This includes ESG (Environmental, Social & Social) and ISO/IATF certification. Continual upgrading of knowledge in relevant regulation changes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sourcing best practices into Skyworks overall supply-chain framework.

Required Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, or Data Analytics. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on sourcing analytics and data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations specific to sourcing metrics.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Competent in the field of A.I, with the ability in bridging concept to practical use‑case that enhanced current business processes and data systems
• Solid understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Experience with data modeling and data integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex sourcing insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced sourcing environment.
• Familiarity with ESG principles, sustainability and responsible sourcing practices is a plus.
