A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Buyer like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring reliable supply at the best value-for-money to fulfil the requirements of stakeholders within the Company. Project Systems Business primarily covers system integration and installation for generator-sets combining mtu engines with various other equipment.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Sourcing and onboarding new vendors
2. Evaluating vendor performance, including conducting audits where needed
3. Developing vendors to better meet our needs

Purchasing Execution:

1. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery at right quality and right price
2. Ensure contractual terms and conditions are fair and in line with policies
3. Adhere to purchasing processes and guidelines
4. Support resolution of issues with stakeholders and vendors

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Degree / Diploma in any Engineering field, preferably with knowledge of Electrical Engineering
2. Experience as buyer handling large projects involving power generation equipment
3. Able to handle complex tasks involving multiple stakeholders
4. Knowledge of SAP, especially MM and Purchasing modules, would be an advantage
