The Buyer is responsible for supporting daily supply chain operations by coordinating purchase orders, tracking shipments, inventory optimization, and on-time delivery to meet customer and business demands. The incumbent will assist in identifying process improvements and cost-saving opportunities by analyzing supply data and collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

This position reports to the Manager, Distribution & Fulfilment, J-APAC and is part of the Asia Distribution Center (ADC) Supply Chain & Logistics in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive procurement excellence by managing sales-driven opportunities, making strategic purchasing decisions, and independently executing purchase orders with sound commercial judgment to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer needs.
  • Align procurement initiatives with global operations and supply chain strategies while setting personal development goals that support both professional growth and company success.
  • Leverage data analytics and cross-functional collaboration to consistently execute inventory optimization plans aligned with inventory turn targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers; monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and service.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management/Purchasing and Material Management.
  • Possess 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or related fields within a high-tech environment; fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in executing and understanding of ERP system, Oracle and Baxter.
  • Proficient and well versed in MS office applications
  • Mandarin business communication (Simplified) –To facilitate effective daily business communication, in both verbal and written forms, with our teams and suppliers based in China.
