Job summary

A leading staffing services provider in Singapore seeks a Business System Analyst to analyze engineering requirements and produce technical documentation. You will assist the bid team in scoping and costing work packages while ensuring project deliverables meet deadlines. Essential qualifications include a tertiary degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and over 5 years’ experience in engineering roles, particularly in governmental IT projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an Engineering role.
• Demonstrated competencies for INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent).
• Ability to decipher technical scope from high-level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering requirements analysis.

Job Description & Requirements
As the Business System Analyst, you will play a critical role in deriving and presenting cost estimates based on proposed solution architectures and client-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:

• Perform the engineering requirements analysis
• Provides required technical documentation:
• Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
• Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
• Input/output requirement for Interfaces Management
• Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
• Input for Installation Management
• Assist the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages
• Work with contractors to produce costing, ensure that they deliver on time
• Reports and follow-up the KPIs for the sub-system
• Participate to progress meetings
• Analyse and Correct the Problem Changes Requests

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)
• Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role
• Able to decipher technical scope from high level requirements
• Experience with Governmental and/or complex IT Projects
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Experience working on Software Security projects
• Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
