Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Business System Analyst:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze banking operations and systems, particularly in areas such as Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), Derivatives (e.g., Interest Rate Swaps, Cross-Currency Swaps), Bonds, FAST/GIRO, and MEPS payments.
  • Define and document detailed business and functional requirements, translating business needs into actionable system solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across front-office, back-office, regulatory reporting, and core banking systems to ensure alignment in project goals.
  • Prepare business flow diagrams and system configuration documentation to communicate technical and process changes effectively.
  • Coordinate with regional teams including counterparts in East Asia and other APAC locations.
  • Manage tasks, timelines, risks, and communications within your assigned scope to support overall project success.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting progress, key decisions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement gathering through to user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and implementation, following established project methodologies.
  • Promote collaboration and clear communication across cross-functional project teams and regional units.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis and systems analysis roles, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Hands-on experience in Foreign Exchange (FX), Money Market (MM), Derivatives (Interest Rate Swap, Cross-Currency Swap), Bonds, FAST/GIRO or MEPS Payment Systems
  • Strong experience in designing and specifying technical system solutions based on business needs.
  • Skilled in business flowcharting, technical diagrams, and stakeholder communications.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 15,000 + AWS + VB (2 - 3 Months)
  • Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work
