Job Description

Business Support Management (BSM) is a crucial function within the Commercial and Investment Bank - Finance & Business Management. Our team provides administrative and control-focused support to Commercial and Investment Bank businesses, collaborating with multiple lines of business, Business Managers, and internal partners such as Expense Management, Business Change Management, Business Controls, Compliance, Human Resources, and Technology.

As an Administrative Assistant Manager – Associate within the BSM team, you will manage administrative assistants supporting one or more lines of business across the APAC region. Your role is key in maintaining stakeholder relationships, supporting productivity, and optimizing business processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily activities of administrative assistants, ensuring efficient operations and coverage support.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics to drive team success and productivity.
  • Coach and support the professional development of administrative assistants.
  • Maintain a dynamic control and compliance environment to mitigate risks.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a liaison for seamless support.
  • Manage relationships with internal business partners across multiple lines of business.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve productivity and resource utilization.
  • Assist in performance management for direct reports, supporting their career growth.
  • Participate in compensation planning and communicate clearly about compensation matters.
  • Support Business Support Management projects to enhance controls and efficiencies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years in Human Resources, Administration, or Management.
  • Proven experience in team management and performance improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Solid analytical skills for troubleshooting and data leverage.
