Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a hands-on handyman to maintain a dual-site facility in Singapore, covering an office and a warehouse. You will perform repairs, painting, and basic HVAC tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and safety compliance.

Two-site travel is required; you will work with vendors, raise POs, and support facilities administration. Strong reliability and basic English communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman/maintenance or similar hands-on work.
• Able to perform doors, painting and general fixes.
• Can use computers for email and simple tasks.
• ITE certificate or technical training completed.
• Basic English for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance: fix doors, cabinets, furniture and general repairs in office and warehouse.
• Do painting work and touch-ups to keep areas looking good.
• Understand basic HVAC maintenance.
• Replace light bulbs, fix taps and handle daily wear-and-tear issues.
• Walk around sites to spot and fix small problems before they become big issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and call contractors for larger repairs.
• Raise purchase orders and manage costs with PO processes.

Location: Singapore (2 sites: 1 office, 1 warehouse - 7KM apart)

What You'll Do

• Hands-On Maintenance (Main Responsibility) Fix doors, cabinets, furniture, and general repairs around the office and warehouse
• Do painting work and touch-ups to keep the place looking good
• Understand simple HVAC maintenance
• Replace light bulbs, fix taps, and handle daily wear-and-tear issues
• Walk around sites to spot and fix small problems before they become big ones
• Work with Vendors Call contractors when you need help with bigger repairs
• Get price quotations from vendors
• Raise work orders in the computer system
• Help prepare Purchase Orders PO
• Be there when vendors come to make sure work is done properly
• General Support Travel between 2 sites as needed (office and warehouse, 7KM apart)
• Help with cleaning coordination, pantry supplies, and general upkeep
• Respond to staff requests and keep client happy
• Report any security or safety issues

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years doing handyman, maintenance, or similar hands-on work
• Know basic repairs - doors, painting, general fixing
• Can use basic tools
• Basic English to communicate and write simple reports
• Hardworking, reliable, and good attitude
• Good to Have (but not required): Some HVAC knowledge or willing to learn
• Ever worked in office building or factory before
• Can use computer for email and simple tasks
• ITE certificate or any technical training
