A leading company in the trading and distribution sector is seeking a skilled Business Support Executive. The role involves providing operational support, process improvement, and data analytics. Candidates should hold a degree and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills.
The Business Support Executive is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to Biomedia Group. The role reports to Chief Strategy Officer and involves handling various tasks and responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations and the overall efficiency of the business and the responsibilities associated with the role:
Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyzing existing processes to identify areas for improvement and streamlining. Implementing changes, automation, and new technologies to enhance efficiency.
Standardization and Documentation: Developing standardized procedures and providing training to ensure consistency.
Monitoring Metrics: Establishing and tracking performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities together with Business Managers.
Continuous Improvement Project Management: Supporting Heads of Departments, facilitating brainstorming, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Assisting in coordinating and supporting various projects within the organization.
Change Management & Cross-functional collaboration: Supporting smooth transitions and adoption of optimized processes while collaborating with different departments to gather insights and feedback.
Technology Integration & Data Management: Researching and recommending software tools and automation technologies. Handling data management tasks, such as generating reports.
Administrative Support & Communication: Managing day-to-day administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records and files. Facilitating effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
Event Planning and Logistics: Organizing and coordinating company events, conferences, or meetings.
Research and Analysis: Be responsible for conducting research, gathering data, and performing analysis on various business-related topics or market trends. This information can be used for decision-making, strategic planning, or business development purposes.
Ad hoc Support: Providing additional support to Group Managing Director as needed.
Pre-requisites:
Degree/Diploma in Business or relevant field
3 years of business commercial experience, preferably in a trading and distribution environment
Experience in Data Analytics tools such as R, Python, Power Bi will be advantageous
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good work attitude, team player, able to work independently, proactive and keen eye to details
Excellent communication and writing skills.
