Job summary

The Perse School (Singapore) seeks a Business Studies and Entrepreneurship Teacher to inspire students and prepare them for academic and career pathways. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Business or Entrepreneurship, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Experience with Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE, A-level, IB DP Business Management or AP Economics/Business is highly desirable.
  • A passion for entrepreneurship education and developing 21st-century skills in students.

  • Design and deliver lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies and Entrepreneurship to students from Secondary to IGCSE level.
  • Design and deliver lessons that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Integrate case studies, simulations, business planning, and entrepreneurial thinking into the curriculum.
  • Guide students in business projects, pitch presentations, and student-led enterprises.
  • Stay current with trends in global business, innovation, and digital entrepreneurship.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives and school-wide events (e.g., business fairs, startup challenges).
  • Provide regular feedback to students and maintain academic records as required.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
