Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd is partnering with a leading banking client to identify an AVP/VP of Business Resilience in Singapore. The role focuses on strengthening the organisation's resilience framework across business continuity, operational resilience, crisis management and third‑party resilience.

You will collaborate with Technology, Operations, Risk and other functions, conduct impact assessments, lead resilience testing, coordinate governance reporting and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in BCM, Operational Resilience, or related risk roles in banking.
• Strong knowledge of BCM, resilience testing, and crisis management.
• Familiarity with MAS BCM Guidelines and Operational Resilience requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and enhancement of the business resilience framework.
• Conduct business impact assessments and dependency mapping.
• Coordinate business continuity planning, resilience testing and crisis exercises.
• Support regulatory reporting on resilience and OCIR.

The Role

We are partnering with a leading banking client who is seeking a Business Resilience AVP/VP to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a resilience professional to support and enhance the organisation's resilience framework across business continuity, operational resilience, crisis management and third-party resilience. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to strengthen resilience capabilities and support regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the organisation's business resilience framework
• Conduct business impact assessments, dependency mapping and resilience reviews across critical services
• Coordinate business continuity planning, resilience testing and crisis management exercises
• Support operational resilience, OCIR and regulatory reporting requirements
• Partner with stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Risk and other business functions to strengthen resilience capabilities
• Prepare governance reporting, management updates and resilience-related documentation

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Technology Resilience or Operational Risk, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of business continuity planning, resilience testing and crisis management frameworks
• Strong knowledge of MAS BCM Guidelines, Operational Resilience and Technology Risk Management requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
