Salt is hiring a ‘Business Messaging Sales Specialist’ to partner with our Sales team to provide the right Messaging solutions based on our key clients’ business needs and drive execution through collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
Success in this position requires experience in enterprise sales and bringing complex products to market, driving and measuring customer success and data and analytical skills to provide best-in-class data-driven consultative sales solutions.
Responsibilities
Act as a Business Messaging product & insights expert, in partnership with Account Manager, to develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business objectives and customer journey, co-lead sales pitches and devise solutions based on in-depth solution knowledge of Business Messaging offerings. Leverage platform capabilities, as well as partners as relevant, to build solutions.
Collaborate with account teams to build relationships and trust with client stakeholders across business, technical, customer experience, marketing, and other relevant stakeholders, to gain mindshare on Business Messaging in driving business results.
Develop and present compelling value propositions, business cases, along with commercial structure, for clients to drive measurable outcomes.
Demonstrate thought leadership and develop strategic client plans to drive growth against goals, including by reviewing forecasts, assessing and mitigating risks, and removing blockers.
Actively seek client feedback (both formal and informal) and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Effectively communicate the feedback internally to identify feature gaps and improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 7+ years of enterprise sales and business experience
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems and proven experience to drive data-driven discussions and engage in complex product discussion.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with complex client stakeholders and articulating business value to key decision makers
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Industry knowledge and experience in Messaging space
Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
Ability to influence C levels and build effective relationships
Knowledge of the messaging landscape of Singapore/Malaysia/SEA (bonus) is essential. Knowledge of digital media is a bonus.
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail
