Singapore Exchange Limited is seeking a strategic and analytical professional to lead Strategy & Transformation within the Technology Unit. You will drive the shift to product-centric, outcome-driven delivery, aligning priorities, capabilities and execution to accelerate time-to-market and improve customer outcomes.

The role focuses on operating model redesign, digital transformation, and performance analytics to strengthen SGX’s competitive position and resilience in global markets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in technology strategy, operations transformation, or systems implementation roles.
• Background in financial services technology, trading systems, or market infrastructure operations.
• Experience with large-scale technology transformation projects and system implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills interfacing between technical, operational and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Roadmap Planning: support the development and execution of technology strategy and multi-year roadmaps for trading, clearing, settlement, and data systems.
• Operating Model Transformation: lead the transition from project-based delivery to a product-led operating model, aligning technology delivery to business outcomes.
• AI, Automation, Digital Transformation: spearhead digital transformation projects including cloud migration, API modernization, and microservices adoption.
• Performance Analytics & Optimization: establish KPIs, embed data-driven decision making, and prepare dashboards and reports for senior management.

The opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Strategy & Transformation professional to join our Technology Unit. This role will drivethe shift from traditional project-based delivery to product-centric,outcome-driven ways of working, aligning business priorities, technologycapabilities, and delivery execution to achieve faster time-to-market, improvedcustomer outcomes, and sustained operational excellence. Acting as a keypartner to senior leadership, the incumbent will lead strategic initiatives, operatingmodel redesign, and organisational change to strengthen SGX’s competitiveposition and long-term resilience.

The Technology Unit

The Technology Unit at SGX is responsible for deliveringand operating mission-critical trading, clearing, settlement, and marketinfrastructure systems, ensuring high levels of resilience, performance,security, and regulatory compliance. The unit drives technological innovation,operational excellence, and strategic transformation initiatives that enhanceour market infrastructure capabilities and maintain our competitive edge in theglobal financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Roadmap Planning

• Support the development and execution oftechnology strategy and multi-year roadmaps for trading, clearing, settlement,and data systems
• Conduct technology landscape analysis andcompetitive benchmarking to identify strategic opportunities for infrastructureenhancement
• Collaborate with technology architectureteams to evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for core marketinfrastructure
• Analyze technology investment priorities andbusiness cases for major system upgrades and transformations

2. Operating Model Transformation

• Lead the transition from project-baseddelivery to a product-led operating model, aligning technology delivery tobusiness outcomes
• Design and implement product-centricstructures that enable end-to-end ownership
• Establish product lifecycle management andoutcome-based prioritisation frameworks
• Ensure strong alignment between strategy,prioritisation, and execution across Technology and business stakeholders

3. AI, Automation, Digital Transformation

• Spearhead digital transformation projectsincluding cloud migration, API modernization, and microservices architectureadoption
• Support implementation of artificialintelligence and machine learning solutions for operations monitoring, anomalydetection, and predictive maintenance

4. Performance Analytics & Optimization

• Establish and monitor key performanceindicators (KPIs) for technology systems and operational processes
• Embed data-driven decision-making, OKRs, andperformance tracking mechanisms
• Conduct data analysis to identifybottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system optimization
• Prepare regular performance reports anddashboards for senior management and technology leadership
• Support capacity planning and system scalinginitiatives based on market growth projections

What we are looking for

Essentials

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, ComputerScience, Information Technology, Business management, or related technicalfield
• 5-8 years of experience in technologystrategy, operations transformation, or systems implementation roles
