WGT Events & HR Group seeks a Business Management Lecturer to support teaching and academic standards within their School. The role involves lesson planning, evaluation of coursework, research, and participation in marketing events. Candidates should have a minimum degree, 3-4 years of teaching experience, and expertise in business management and related fields. Responsibilities
Learning, Teaching, and Assessment:
- Provide effective support to the School in teaching, including development and maintenance of academic standards.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and set assessment and learning activities to a range of classes (lecturers/tutorials/asynchronous) and age groups of students (including overseas colleges, if required).
- Administer the setting and marking of coursework and examination.
- Review and ensure the quality of examination papers under area(s) of specialisation.
- Periodically review and develop programmes pertinent to the School to ensure continued relevance and quality improvement of curricula.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate teaching materials to cover the learning outcomes of the different programmes of study.
- Develop online learning strategies with a duality of pedagogical functions (online learning, Blended learning).
Research & Knowledge Exchange:
- Expected to have knowledge and understanding of e-learning platforms such as Blackboard etc.
- Represent the School in selected academic committee, where necessary.
Others:
- Represent and participate in marketing events for the School.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned by the Assistant Director (Academic) / Director.
