Job Description:
The General Manager (Business Management) will oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic direction of the company’s business functions. This includes supervising departments such as finance, sales, operations, project management, and human resources. The role requires a proactive leader with strong commercial acumen, organizational capabilities, and a proven track record in driving business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s business strategies aligned with its goals and vision.
- Drive company growth through strategic planning, partnerships, and market expansion.
- Set objectives and monitor performance across departments to ensure overall company targets are met.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily business operations and ensure all departments are functioning efficiently.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Financial Oversight:
- Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial statements to track performance and make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff.
- Establish strong working relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and internal teams.
- Represent the company in high-level negotiations and client meetings.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement effective strategies.
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends to refine product and service offerings.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of senior management experience, preferably in project management, events, design, or creative industries.
- Skills:
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Financial literacy and experience managing budgets and P&L.
Proficiency in business software (Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM tools). - Others:

Familiarity with Singapore business regulations and market trends.
