The Right Profile

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Lead to spearhead the growth and operations of Syfe for Business. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will drive the expansion of our corporate offerings, build key partnerships, to deliver exceptional value to business clients. This role is pivotal in positioning Syfe as the go-to platform for corporate treasury management in Singapore, Hong Kong, and beyond. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of fintech, corporate finance, and B2B sales.

This role will focus on our Wealth product, which leverages the expertise of our advisory team to simplify investing for our users. Candidates with investment knowledge and prior experience of its application in wealth management will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the business strategy for Syfe for Business, including market expansion, product roadmap enhancements, and alignment with overall company goals. Identify opportunities to tailor solutions like Cash+ Guaranteed USD for diverse corporate needs.
  • Business Development & Sales: Lead B2B sales efforts to acquire and retain corporate clients, including SMEs, startups, and large enterprises. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, such as CFOs and treasury managers, to drive adoption of our cash management and investment products.
  • Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team of sales, account managers, and product specialists. Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and client success.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Building: Forge strategic partnerships with financial institutions, corporate service providers, and industry associations to expand our reach and integrate Syfe for Business into broader corporate ecosystems.
  • Market Insights & Product Innovation: Conduct market research and analyze competitor landscapes to inform product development. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine offerings, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and deliver competitive yields with high liquidity.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Set and track KPIs for client acquisition, retention, AUM growth, and revenue targets. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on business performance and growth opportunities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards in markets like Singapore and Hong Kong.
  • Client Success: Oversee client onboarding, support, and feedback loops to enhance satisfaction and drive upsell opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years in business development, sales leadership, or product management within fintech, wealth management, or corporate banking. Proven track record in B2B environments, ideally with experience in cash management or treasury solutions.
