We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Lead to join our Business Intelligence team in the Regional Talent Solutions business (https://talenthub.glints.com/ to help grow our team across Asia.
The mission of this role is to solve strategic problems that arise in our scaling phase and drive new projects using a data-driven approach. You will be a key part of building new and scaling existing business units.
What You'll Be Doing
- Data Reporting and Visualization; Design, build, and drive adoption of data dashboards for the Regional Talent Solutions team, such as pipeline management and conversion funnel metrics.
- Build real-time data dashboards to monitor client pipeline and sales team performance (e.g. Sales yield, time-to-fill, fill-rates, individual recruiter and sales personnel performance).
- Lead the generation of weekly analytical reports for sales and delivery teams, leveraging data from our internal product.
- Insight Generation for Problem-solving; Synthesize business intelligence dashboards to provide critical business insights for the Regional Talent Solutions team.
- Partner with and support data analytic teams to generate ad-hoc data analysis requests and diagnose root causes of operational pain points (e.g. root cause of the decline in sales team activity / reduction in time to fill / funnel conversion bottlenecks).
- Data Systems Building & Data Extraction; Support the Regional Talent Solutions team’s transition from manual data entry systems to an automated, end-to-end structured data system.
- Implement short-term work-arounds to solve immediate pain points, while simultaneously building and implementing long-term, sustainable data collection & analysis solutions.
- Extract and configure data from data tables in back-end database/data lake.
Who We Are Looking For
- 4 years of experience or above in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Data Science / Data Engineering.
- Solid experience in coaching, building and managing a team of junior team members.
- A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics (preferred).
- Proficiency with SQL, data modelling, data warehousing (Apache Airflow/Docker), analytical techniques, statistical algorithms, scripting languages (R/Python).
- Experience in creating dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms. We are in the migration process to Power BI.
- Experience supporting data-driven sales operations and strategic cross-functional BI initiatives.
- Experience designing a BI roadmap and executing the vision behind it.
- Excellent communication skills: ability to convert complicated analytical work into easy-to-understand narratives to explain stories behind the numbers professionally and concisely.
- Demonstrated project management skills in driving process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills – ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem.
