Business Operations Analyst

The mission of the Sales Strategic Planning & Operations (SSPO) group is to enable revenue growth through data-driven business strategies and efficient operations. This is achieved by being objective, trusted partners to the organizations supported. The approach includes:

  1. A strong grounding and understanding of the data underpinning the business
  2. The ability to synthesize this with third-party or external data and insights
  3. Thought leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration
  4. Stakeholder influence, even in absentia, through clear data-driven narratives, analysis, and calls to action delivered via dashboards and tools

The Sales Strategic Planning & Operations team is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support revenue growth by producing actionable insights, dashboards, and driving operational efficiency across sales processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue, product, vertical, productivity, efficiency, and market opportunity data and trends. Lead the communication of these insights.
  • Scalable Insights: Maintain or develop automated, actionable dashboards, workflows, and tools that support ongoing and future business rhythms.
  • Project/Process Management: Design and execute operational cadences and independently manage project or program plans in support of key stakeholder initiatives.
  • Hypothesis Development: Identify and resolve strategic business questions tied to key regional opportunities and risks.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate or business-related field (e.g., Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems)
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business or sales operations, with a preference for Asia-Pacific regional exposure
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to extract business insights from large, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to drive strategy and execution, including influencing senior stakeholders
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace (e.g., spreadsheet modeling, slide-based data storytelling)
  • Proficient in SQL, with the ability to query and analyze data across multiple sources independently
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills

This is an initial 6-months contract role with possible extensions.
