OKX is seeking fast-moving mobile engineers as Business engineers to help grow the crypto ecosystem. You will identify new features, build scalable mobile systems, and collaborate with product, design, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for millions of users worldwide.

The role emphasizes designing scalable mobile architectures, writing maintainable production code, and partnering with cross-functional teams to unlock OKX's platform potential.

About the Opportunity

OKX is looking for fast-moving mobile engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset. As a Business engineer on our team, you will help grow the crypto ecosystem by identifying new features, product opportunities, and scalable solutions — enabling users and partner businesses to unlock the full potential of OKX's platform.

Our engineering team is comprised of creative problem solvers and strategic software engineers who collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams. We sit at the intersection of finance and technology, building mobile experiences that help millions of users worldwide trade, invest, and explore Web3.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Understand and apply knowledge of crypto products, blockchain technologies, and market dynamics to deliver solutions at scale
• Independently identify stakeholders and align cross-functional partners toward completion of project goals
• Break down complex engineering projects into executable tasks and partner with all applicable teams
• Design and build end-to-end mobile systems, from architecture to launch strategy
• Ship production-quality code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with reviewers, with relevant documentation and test coverage
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback; action feedback from reviews of your own code promptlyBuild relationships with internal stakeholders; share project updates and influence decision-making through data-driven insights
• Serve as a subject matter expert within the mobile engineering team and provide consultation on domain-level projects
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members

What We Look For In You

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
• Experience working in fintech, crypto, or Web3 environments
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Builds AI-leveraged engineering workflows, curating domain knowledge bases, harnessing context, and codifying repeatable agent skills/workflows, so AI tools like Claude Code/Codex deliver reliably on real production work.

Nice to Haves

• Proven experience shipping production-quality mobile code (iOS and/or Android)
• Strong proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or React Native
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols, wallet integrations, or on-chain data
• Experience contributing to open source projects or shared code repositories
• Active participation in the developer community (blogs, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.)
• Experience in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
• Experience adhering to responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation)
