We work only with small class sizes (4-12 students), allowing us to focus the needs of each individual learner.

Business and Economics Teacher
(Relief Teacher from July to Sept)

Pearson IGCSE (O-Level) and A-Level

Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Role

• Teach Business and Economics at International A-Level.
• Maintain attendance and achievement records and class management
• Provide regular reports on student performance
• Attend meetings to review performance
• Set and mark internal exams and tests
• Provide extra academic support when required

Additional Responsibilities

• Help maintain high levels of student discipline
• Implement teaching strategies to help ensure students achieve the best possible examination results
• Take an active interest in the welfare of students at the school
• Act as Personal Tutor to selected students
• Take an active role in extra-curricular activities
• Undertake any other duties as directed

Qualifications

Essential

• A university honour degree in Business, Economics or related subject
• Relevant and recent experience as a classroom teacher

Preferred

• Experience of teaching Pearson Edexcel Economics / Business programmes at International A-Level.
• Experience of teaching international students using English as the medium of instruction
