Role Overview
As the Business Development Strategy Lead, you will spearhead our efforts to forge and expand strategic relationships with asset managers, venture capital investors, market makers, wallets, exchanges, DAOs, L1/L2s, protocols, and other key ecosystem players. This is a senior role requiring a proven track record of independently sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex partnerships in the Web3, fintech, or capital markets space. A strong understanding of derivatives, trading, and DeFi infrastructure is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for onboarding institutional partners and investors.

  • Source, negotiate, and close commercial partnerships across the crypto and traditional finance ecosystems.

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic partners, including custodians, wallets, exchanges, and market makers.

  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities aligned with product capabilities and market needs.

  • Work closely with the product, legal, and compliance teams to structure and finalize deals.

  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and ecosystem meetings.

  • Track KPIs and report partnership performance and pipeline updates to leadership.


  • Proven track record of independently closing deals with institutional counterparties.

  • Past experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or institutional sales in Web3, fintech, or capital markets.

  • Deep network across Web3, including DeFi protocols, exchanges, custody providers, and trading firms.

  • Strong understanding of financial products—particularly derivatives, structured products, and trading strategies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with DAOs, tokenomics, or on-chain governance.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks around digital assets.

  • Background in trading, portfolio management, or derivatives.
