About the Role

We are looking for a talented and driven Business Development Senior Executive / Manager to join our team. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in driving sales revenue for the various media advertising spaces that Motorist markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, an in-depth understanding of the media landscape, and a proven track record in sales.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  1. Grow our advertising business in established sectors as well as pursue new accounts development in untapped markets.
  2. Take pride in professional account servicing and be committed to close every business deal with integrity and thorough servicing.
  3. Be at the forefront of providing innovative solutions in the Digital media environment.
  4. Spearhead and develop creative and integrated media solutions for advertisers to maximize the impact of their advertising campaigns by using offline and online engagement offered by the company.
  5. Candidates with online website/portal/apps advertising sales will have an added advantage.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Identifying and reaching out to new potential customers.
  2. Responding to sales enquiries from all potential customers.
  3. Meeting the assigned annual sales goals and targets.
  4. Maintaining the department's database with up-to-date contacts, as well as documenting accurate activity details.
  5. Producing weekly and monthly sales reports with accurate revenue forecast.
  6. Ensuring effective internal communication within Sales, Marketing, Communication, Editorial and Video Production departments.
  7. Assist in identifying opportunities for upcoming products, and for the development and enhancement of existing products and services.
  8. Providing feedback of potential customers and members to enhance product and service offering.

What We're Looking For

  1. Possess a relevant Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Media and Advertising Management or equivalent.
  2. More than 2 years of relevant experience in media and/or advertising sales.
  3. Strong passion for the media and advertising industry is a must.
  4. Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills.
  5. Meticulous, able to multi-task and work within tight timelines.
  6. Possess positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player.
