SUMMARY

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Business Development and work alongside a team of Wizards focusing on our customers' business needs. Wiz business development representatives are highly motivated and collaborate closely with Account Executives to build an accomplished pipeline of potential customers. Your responsibilities include building prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  1. Build pipeline by initiating conversations and developing relationships with potential customers via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and in-person events. You will contact 150-300 new prospects weekly.
  2. Collaborate with account executives and marketing to develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies within each territory, including inbound lead follow-up.
  3. Research accounts to identify the right personas, including decision-makers and internal champions within target prospects.
  4. Personalize messaging and qualify interest in Wiz to generate new opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • At least 1 year of sales and lead generation experience.
  • Enthusiasm for building a prospective customer pipeline.
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in cold-calling.
  • A proactive, results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Technical Skills:

  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot).

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in cloud/security sales.
  • Familiarity with sales tools (Outreach, Demandbase, etc.).
