Overview
The Business Development & Partnerships Executive is responsible for driving Podigy’s growth through strategic partnerships, international and local business development, and effective exhibition and event participation. This role involves identifying and cultivating distributor and dealer relationships, coordinating event logistics, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining key external partnerships. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in stakeholder engagement, with a strong understanding of international business development dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Exhibitions & Event Coordination
- Manage local and international exhibition participation, including outreach to organisers, booth booking, and compliance with event requirements.
- Coordinate logistics for booth setup, shipment of pods, and supporting materials.
- Prepare timelines, schedules, and itineraries for management and attending teams.
- Represent the company on-site to engage customers and capture distributor/dealer leads.
- Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify, approach, and build partnerships with distributors, dealers, and agents to promote Podigy’s products and services both locally and internationally.
- Support outreach campaigns to expand Podigy’s global presence and reseller networks.
- Assist in responding to international inquiries and qualifying potential partners.
- Conduct market research and competitor tracking to recommend new partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to structure partnership proposals, agreements, and engagement strategies.
- Management & Sales Support
- Provide support to management for ad-hoc business development projects.
- Participate in customer meetings and discussions where required.
- Prepare reports, meeting notes, and post-event summaries with actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with event organisers, logistics providers, contractors, and external partners.
- Gather and communicate market/customer feedback to management to guide strategic planning.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, international sales, or event coordination.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Confident in engaging with international partners and clients.
