Job description

The ideal candidates can be based in any of these APAC locations: Bangkok, Singapore, Melbourne, Taipei, or Tokyo.

Responsibilities

You will play a strategic role in expanding the company’s presence within the renewable energy sector across the APAC region. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships, promoting the company’s technical solutions—particularly in wind energy assessment—and managing internal coordination to ensure successful project delivery. This client-facing role blends commercial strategy with technical understanding, offering opportunities to drive growth, shape customer engagement, and influence the company’s market positioning in the renewables space.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development initiatives focused on wind energy, identifying new opportunities and nurturing client relationships across the renewable energy ecosystem.

  • Promote the company’s technical and advisory services to developers, manufacturers, financiers, and investors, tailoring proposals and presentations to meet diverse customer needs.

  • Develop and offer wind energy assessment-related solutions in collaboration with regional clients, leveraging deep market and technical insight.

  • Maintain and expand long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Liaise with technical and project execution teams to ensure smooth project handover and timely delivery of services.

  • Understand and translate customer requirements into actionable commercial strategies and viable solutions.

  • Coordinate internal commercial, technical, and legal workflows to facilitate successful deal closures.

  • Oversee project timelines and delivery quality by aligning internal resources with client expectations.

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and business development meetings to enhance brand visibility and market intelligence.

  • Implement best practices across commercial processes and incorporate lessons learned to continuously improve service quality and client experience.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong preference for wind energy exposure.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within the renewable energy industry.

  • Strong understanding of wind energy technologies, assessment methodologies, and market trends.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools.

  • Passion for clean energy and the advancement of the global energy transition.
