A leading company in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector is looking for a business development professional to conduct market research and drive sales. This role requires proactive engagement with customers and collaboration with internal teams to enhance sales performance. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Business Administration or Marketing and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct market research and stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape
Identification and qualification of new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and leads generation in the Healthcare/Pharmaceutical or users of biosafety labs
Building up and closure of a sales pipeline
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and procurement, for sales of products/services
Work closely with marketing team to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
Attend industry trade shows and conferences to increase visibility and promote our products/services when required
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system
Management of channels
Development of sales ideas into potential revenue pipelines
Requirements
Preferably Degree in Business Admin/Marketing or relevant discipline.
Possess 3-5 years of relevant experience pertaining to education courses or lab related business development pertaining to training programs
Proactive and able to work independently.
Possess a high sense of responsibility and accountability.
Organized and good time management skills.
