SLR Consulting is on the lookout for a sharp, driven Business Development Manager to join our APAC Growth Team and take the lead in expanding our footprint across Southeast Asia – with a strong focus on Singapore. This role is all about making connections, opening doors, and driving growth in the logistics, supply chain, shipping and infrastructure sectors.

About the role and what you need to succeed

  • Be the face of SLR in Singapore—leading business development efforts and representing us at industry events and conferences.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and unlock opportunities aligned with their sustainability ambitions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with technical teams to craft standout proposals that solve real-world problems.
  • Stay plugged into the market—tracking trends, building networks, and turning insight into impact.
  • Partner with marketing to lead targeted campaigns, webinars, and external engagements.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in business development, ideally within logistics, supply chain, shipping and infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong networks across Singapore’s mid-tier and unlisted companies – especially in logistics, mining and food sectors.
  • A natural networker and communicator, with proven success in driving commercial outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a passion for sustainability.
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to grow with a global consultancy.
  • Drive regional sales forecasting and reporting in collaboration with the APAC Growth team.
  • Help identify cross-sell opportunities by understanding the full breadth of SLR’s services and knowing when to connect clients to other experts across the business.
  • Plan and support execution of campaigns, webinars, conference appearances, and industry events relevant to our target clients.
