Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Business Development Manager for Business Innovation Division is responsible for researching new technologies which may related to our client business, and evaluating and developing new business opportunities to expand in South-East Asia, which are from Japan or local origin.

Essential Job Functions
  • Collaborate, actively support and implement to build a strategy, plan and goals for the overall Business Innovation team in South-East Asia (which includes related projects such from SVVL, Spinout companies.), including recommendations on different options and the best paths to launch new businesses.
  • Lead or assist the assigned HQ new business initiatives in South-East Asia, and evaluate the market potential and strategy for launching as needed play an active, hands-on role in launching new businesses including recommendation and finding of HR, right eco-partners and potential customers.
  • Plan the best strategies and approach to launch assigned local origin new businesses.
  • Work as needed with stakeholders across Asia, Japan and the US.
  • Build relationships with key ecosystem players including but not limited to government, education, startups and other businesses and organizations.
  • Stay abreast of the concept of business innovation such as the creation and delivery of new customer value in the marketplace with as sustainable business model for the enterprise in corporate latest development, startups and construction industry
  • Collaborate to evaluate the opportunity for venture investments in the region, including building and keeping updated an investment thesis.
  • Understand and follow the administrative rules and innovation playbook of Business Innovation Division, and prepare the local adjusted playbook based on the hands-on project experience
  • Share any type of documents, outputs and information which you make by using BOX or similar sharing system with HQ Business Innovation Division
  • Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies to stay ahead of market trends, and provide technical insights and solutions to support sales and marketing efforts.
  • Initiate for planning and launching business development, particularly focused on robot automation and installation in multiple industries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in Computer Science, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related fielld
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B environments, preferably in business development or sales
  • Proven success as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or in a similar client-facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and develop strategic initiatives
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Deep understanding of corporate innovation and emerging business trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives from concept to execution
