Job Overview
We are looking for a commercially astute Business Development Manager with deep experience in Business development of petrochemical & Petroleum products. This role involves managing the full deal cycle—structuring long-term contracts for Raw Materials & Feedstocks , Long term Product Placement Strategy – Vetting & Designing Contractual Terms & Conditions in coordination with Legal, Actual sourcing and buying & selling materials, engaging with vendors, several stake owners and off takers, to. You will play a key role in driving growth, optimising procurement strategies, and executing end-to-end transactions across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise Strategy for Long term Contracts factoring global Demand & Supply conditions in the Petroleum & Petrochemical space. Lead and execute long term Contractual Terms & Conditions conducive to and in line with overall commercial strategy of the Company.
- Identify long term offtakes and build strategic partnerships to ensure stable demand and competitive pricing.
- Source materials and negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors to optimise supply reliability and cost.
- Conduct commercial studies on market trends, pricing benchmarks, and trade flows to inform deal strategy.
- Develop, structure, and negotiate long-term supply agreements, sales contracts, and JV arrangements.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, legal, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of deals.
- Maintain strong industry relationships to monitor competitor activity and explore new growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and external trade regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Business Development experience in Petroleum & petrochemical products.
- Strong background in transactional deal-making, vendor/off taker management, and commercial negotiations.
- Proven experience with structuring long-term contracts and managing both buy and sell sides of transactions.
- Excellent market knowledge and understanding of regional/international supply and demand dynamics.
- Highly analytical with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
