Job summary

A leading logistics company is seeking a skilled Sales Executive to identify business opportunities in ocean freight. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the logistics sector, with proven sales capability and strong customer relationship management skills. This role involves market analysis, developing strategies, and achieving sales targets to drive business growth in the Asia Westbound market.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Logistics & Container Shipping.
  • Strong command of English, both verbal and written.

Job Description:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, with a focus on cross trade logistics and key trade lanes.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on Asia Westbound and TPEB markets.
  • Develop and maintain customer portfolio and facilitate business growth
  • Deliver sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management on a regular basis. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and customer needs.
  • Initiate, develop and source for new business / potential clients
  • Execute strategic sales plan incl. trade and route development
  • Optimize Service Quality
  • Achieve joint sales targets set
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics & Container Shipping Industry
  • Good exposure of import/export and cross-trade
  • Develop and execute trade lane strategies in collaboration with global and regional product teams.
  • Experience dealing with Singapore SME company will be a advantage
  • Highly motivated, independent and target driven with a proven sales record
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Strong command in English (writing & spoken)
  • Team player with proactive working attitude
